Even with something as seemingly simple as a pair of striped dress socks, there are many details that can make or break your experience of wearing them.
First of all, what length of sock do you prefer? We offer striped dress socks in either over the calf or mid calf lengths, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Second, what material will be best for you? Our striped socks come in both merino wool and cotton, and each of these materials performs differently depending on the weather. We have a full guide to choosing the best material for dress socks, but in short: Go for merino wool if you need to manage odor and moisture, or cotton if you’re looking for the softest and coolest socks.
And third, how bold do you want your striped dress socks to get? We have a range of stripe colors from subdued to eye catching, and each can complement your outfits differently. Let’s cover that in more detail in the next section.
When you learn how to match your dress socks, shoes, and pants, the sky’s the limit for the outfits you can create. But striped dress socks require a little bit of a different approach than your usual solid colored pairs.
Our striped dress socks come in three base colors: Black, grey, and navy. This makes them easy to pair with just about any darker pair of pants (though navy often pairs well with khaki pants, too).
