The Finest Materials

Making a great pair of socks is only possible by utilizing the finest yarns. Mike James, our co-founder, has been in the yarn business for over 40 years.

Affectionately known as the “Yarnologist” by friends and colleagues, Mike’s expertise is invaluable in helping us procure the best raw materials for our production.

Knitting

After meticulously selecting the best yarns, it’s time to head to the mill and tie the yarns onto the knitting machines.

While technology undoubtedly plays a big role in knitting, the most important element is a skilled knitting technician who understands the art and science of hosiery.

Finishing

Once the socks have been knit, the next stop is the finishing plant where the socks are washed and packaged.

The washing process thoroughly cleans the socks and, most importantly, gives them a soft finished texture.
