I hang this on the side of our laundry hamper, my husband puts his dirty Boardroom socks in it and he knows since they will stay together he doesn’t need to make a sock ball with the pair, and I close and toss the whole thing in the machine when I do laundry. No lost socks, no wet balled up pairs of socks, and they come out clean and ready to easily sort.
