Running Boardroom Socks means that we are constantly surrounded by socks. In fact, when we were operating the business out of Mike and Carol's home, there were over 15,000 pairs of socks crammed in the house with us! A question we are frequently asked is, "What are your favorite Boardroom Socks?" Carol has always been a big fan of our solid Charcoal Merino Wool Socks. As she states in the video, the socks have an elegant look and are a great alternative for black. These have a little bit of a heather to them, which makes them easy to pair with just about any pair of pants. (Available in mid-calf and over the calf.)
Carol's favorite pattern is our Purple Square Knots on Black - a style that has long been one of our most popular patterned socks. Carol, and many of our customers, enjoy the tasteful simplicity of these socks. (Available in mid-calf and over the calf.)
Mike started Boardroom Socks because he could no longer find his favorite American-made over the calf dress socks. It goes without saying that his favorite length is over the calf and, as he likes to tell customers, our over the calf socks stay up all day!
His favorite patterns are our Red Dots on Black (available in over the calf) and our Tri-Color Dots on Navy (available in both mid-calf and over the calf). Mike loves our dot socks because they are clean and simple with just the right amount of pop.
Mike's everyday go-to sock is our Khaki Pima Cotton, in his preferred over the calf length (also available in mid-calf). It's hard to go wrong with these, as they look great with a variety of khaki and chino trousers.
Nathan's favorite patterned Boardroom Socks are our Pink Dots on Charcoal. As Carol pointed out, our charcoal is a very versatile color that easily goes with most outfits. This style is available in both mid-calf and over the calf lengths.
Nathan's favorite solid style is our new Burgundy Merino Wool, which we just released in the fall of 2020. While burgundy certainly adds a bit of color, he believes it delivers the same versatility of charcoal. It looks great with both brown and black shoes, as well as grey, navy and black trousers. (Available in over the calf and mid-calf.)
