Merino Wool Over the Calf Dress Socks Three Pack
These are my new favorite socks. I ordered 1 grey pair in cotton and 1 grey pair in wool. I really like both, but I definitely prefer the wool. There is a slight texture that the wool socks have that gives them a nice, but subtle, contrast against suit pants, trousers, and chinos. They are really versatile, I even wear mine with jeans. The grey cotton ones are much smoother and dressier looking and therefore I would only personally wear them with a full suit. Temperature-wise, the wool socks felt very slightly warmer, barely noticeable, and I tend to get hot easily. I also have sweaty feet even if I'm cold, so I preferred the moisture wicking of the wool socks. Both held up equally well in my washing cycle; low heat and tumble dry. Overall, after testing both the cotton and wool socks for a few days each, I promptly replaced my entire sock drawer with the wool ones!
I received an email from Boardroom Socks inviting me to place another order and I would received 10% off. I did not need any more socks, but the socks are American made and of good quality, so I placed my order. No discount. I then read that I had to enter a code to received the discount. I consider this at best misleading, akin to "rebates" offered on groceries. Good socks though ...
We apologize for the confusion regarding the promotion that you received. We have issued you a 10% refund to properly reflect the discount. Thank you for your patience and your repeat business with us.
The experience with Boardroom Socks was great! But most importantly, the socks are excellent!!! The fit and comfort are perfect. I love that they are made here in the U.S.A. I will buy from them again...
