Questions about our socks
How much does shipping cost?
All US orders receive free standard shipping, Canadian orders ship for a flat $6.95 and all other international orders ship for $9.95.
Please Note: international orders are shipped under DDU terms (Delivered Duty Unpaid). As a result, we are not responsible for any local duties or taxes; however, using the US Postal Service means that our customers very rarely incur any sort of duties or taxes.
How long will it take my socks to arrive?
Orders ship out either the same day or the next business day. Most US orders are delivered within five business days. All international orders are shipped via the USPS and, on average, are delivered within 10 business days at most; however, customs delays could have an impact on this.
How can I track my order?
After your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.
What is your return policy?
We have a 90 day no questions asked return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your socks within the first 90 days, we will promptly issue a replacement pair or fully refund you. Even beyond this 90 day period, if you are unhappy with your socks or believe that they may be defective, please contact us so that we have an opportunity to rectify the issue. Questions about our socks
Should I purchase mid-calf or over the calf?
This is really a matter of personal preference but we have written a detailed article
reviewing the differences between these types of socks.
What are the differences between pima cotton and merino wool?
This is a matter of personal preference. Some gentlemen like the smoothness of pima cotton and find it to be extremely comfortable. Other gentlemen prefer merino wool for its natural ability to manage moisture. We have a detailed article about Supima cotton
and another about why we like merino wool socks
that share our respective opinions on each.
How thick are your dress socks?
We describe our dress socks as a "medium" thickness; they are slightly thicker than European dress socks, increasing durability while maximizing comfort.
Your multi-pack options do not include the styles I am interested in
If you are interested in purchasing three, six or twelve pairs of socks and we do not offer them in the combination that you desire, please contact us
. We will happily assist you with your purchase.
How should I care for my socks?
To begin with, be sure to use a small knife or pair of scissors to remove the piece of cardboard holding the socks together; if you pull it off, you may put a hole in the socks.
When laundering our socks, we recommend washing them inside out on a cool or warm setting. If possible, you should air dry them. If not, they can be tumble dried on low. For additional insight, we wrote a detailed article on how to wash wool socks.
